We are delighted to announce that visitors donated no more than 130 Tiny Quilts in aid of Tiny Lives and it was such an honour to be able to display them for all to see at Creative Crafts at both Gateshead & Carlisle last week end. It was humbling to speak with many visitors who shared their experiences and stories of having had a baby in the Tiny Lives unit and how perhaps the public don’t realise just what an effect these quilts have; not only have on the baby’s lives but also that of the families too. We are waiting to hear back from hospitals at Newcastle & Carlisle as to when we can donate the quilts. We will take photos and share them with you. A huge thank you to all those visitors that made the quilts “with love” and donated them to such a worthy cause.
We hope you all enjoyed the shows, as usual the “goody bags” were very well received at both Gateshead & Carlisle with queues forming from 8.30am. We hope you liked the variety of stands selling all your crafting supplies. We had some fabulous new ones and some regulars too. Thank you to our exhibitors who travel from show to show, coming from Suffolk, Lincoln, Leeds, Edinburgh, Lancashire and beyond. Our supporting charities at Gateshead were GNNAS and The Tiny Lives and at Carlisle; McMillan Cancer and Tiny Lives. Thank you for continuing to support these charities.
We will also be sharing photo’s of our Free prize draw winners at both Gateshead and Carlisle so look out for the delighted winners.
The Free shuttle bus service which we offer our visitors from Gateshead Civic centre to Gateshead Leisure Centre proved a huge success, thank you to all who used this service.
